What Now?

At midday on the 1st of August, candidate nominations close.

On the 6th of August, candidate names are publicly announced - although some have already come forward.

This is when Better Hamilton takes the next step and asks the question - "Who do we vote for?"

Based on our policy position - which will be published here very soon - we will look at every potential candidate that seems to line up with that position, and rate them based on key criteria. This is essential, as we have been repeatedly asked "who do we vote for?"

It's not our role to tell anyone who to vote for, rather it is to inform voters - the residents of Hamilton - about which candidates have the skills and knowledge and stand for the values that we believe are vital in order to "turn the ship around".

To make Hamilton flourish, while still being a place we can afford to live and be proud of.

It will be your choice to make at the ballot box and we will have as much information as possible available to help Hamiltonians make the best decision they can.
